SEM Insider is an independent publication on Google Ads and paid search. This page explains how we choose, write, check and update what we publish.

1. Who writes for SEM Insider

Articles are written and reviewed by the SEM Insider Editorial Team: practitioners who manage Google Ads accounts day to day. Guest contributions from working PPC professionals are welcome and go through the same review process.

2. Compliance first

We do not publish gray-hat or black-hat tactics. That includes cloaking, policy circumvention, disguising restricted products, reusing suspended accounts or payment profiles, and any method designed to get around Google Ads or Merchant Center policies. Where a topic carries real account risk, such as restricted verticals or suspensions, we explain the risk plainly and only cover compliant ways forward.

3. Sources and accuracy

4. Updates and corrections

Google Ads changes often. We review published guides and update them when features, interfaces or policies change. If we get something wrong, we correct it and note significant corrections in the article. To report an error, contact us.

5. Independence, affiliates and sponsorship

SEM Insider is not owned by or affiliated with Google, any ad platform, agency network or software vendor. Some links may be affiliate links, and they never influence what we recommend. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

6. Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with research, outlining or editing. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by a human editor before it is published.
